Pricing
Before getting to the pricing, here is what I am not an expert on:
I have a strong background in tax-aware planning and investing but do not prepare client tax returns. I believe my expertise is better applied elsewhere.
I am not an expert in rental real estate or the tax issues surrounding that. While I advise clients from time to time on small holdings, if it's a major part of your personal plan, I may not be the right advisor for you..
I do not have expertise on cross border issues such as taxation or other dual-citizen topics
While I keep abreast of crypto and stablecoins, and I’ve spent a meaningful amount of time researching Bitcoin in particular, crypto is not the main focus of my practice. When it makes sense for your plan and risk profile, it can be part of the conversation, though it’s unlikely to be the main piece of the puzzle.
And here is why you may not want to work with me:
I’m responsive, especially when something is time-sensitive. For non-urgent items, you can expect replies within a reasonable window rather than instant turnaround. I’m a solo advisor by design, and Core Planning supports the back office so I can stay focused on high-quality planning and clear communication. If you prefer a large-team experience with near-immediate, always-on access, you may be happier with a bigger firm. If you want a direct relationship with the person doing the work, you’re in the right place.
I can not always answer unscheduled phone calls. If you’re looking for always-on, immediate phone access through a staffed team, a larger firm may be a better fit than a sole practitioner.
I do not recommend asset allocation or investment options to try to outperform the market. If you are looking to squeeze every possible basis point of return from your portfolios, I won't be the advisor for you. I value long term success (i.e. reaching your goals with peace of mind) over maximized returns.
